British heavyweight David Allen plans to bash the living daylights out of Lucas Browne in a stark warning to the Australian.
The ‘White Rhino’ is planning to make a big statement when the pair meet at The O2 on April 20. Allen wants to push his name into title contention with a victory.
“I have never trained so hard in my life,” said Allen. “I’m going to knock Browne spark out. I hit too hard for him.
“Even though there’s no animosity in the build-up, I want to punch him all over The O2 into row Z.”
Continuing on Browne’s recent form, Allen takes confidence from the fact ‘Big Daddy’ is not as dangerous as he once was.
“Lucas Browne isn’t the Lucas Browne who beat Chagaev, he’s a faded force,” stated the ‘Doncaster De La Hoya’.
“That being said he’s still very dangerous, he does have that power, but this fight is perfect for me.
“He’s a former World Heavyweight Champion. A win here puts me on the big stage. Not the highest level, but within touching distance of a fight that would then put me there.
“To be at the top of the bill at The O2 means loads. The support is something special. I’m unbeaten at The O2 with two huge knockouts and I’m very confident in making it a treble.”

Allen shares top billing next month with former world title challenger Derek Chisora. ‘Del Boy’ battles Senad Gashi in what could be a warm-up for a bout with Joseph Parker.
Chisora v Parker has been in the pipeline for some time now. The winner of that encounter would be pushing for a title shot of some sort.
For Allen, just being in the vicinity of events likes this is a dream come true. Browne is the first step on what could be a Cinderella run for the likeable Yorkshireman.
