As Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather continue to drum up interest in a massive clash at the end of 2017 or early 2018, one man has already been ruled out of any cross-codes fight.

Manny Pacquiao, who announced his interest in taking on McGregor last week, has been passed over by Dana White.

The UFC boss says he won’t work with Top Rank President Bob Arum.

“Listen, I love Manny Pacquiao. But I don’t love Bob Arum. You can tell Arum to save his money and not make any calls because we aren’t doing business with him,” White told Yahoo Sports.

Filipino Senator Pacquiao had previously stated to Fox Sports: “In boxing? In boxing (I would) but not in (UFC), just boxing.

“I’m sure he will be moving around,” the 38-year-old continued. “I didn’t see it [footage of Conor sparring].

“But it’s different if we are talking about Conor McGregor and boxing. Boxing is different than MMA.”

Mayweather remains a solid favorite to be in the opposite corner to McGregor when the Irishman makes his boxing debut shortly.

While a Las Vegas boxing license is currently in the process of being ratified.

‘The Notorious’ is expected to settle a fine handed down by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

This will clear the way for a mega-fight with Mayweather to take place at the MGM Grand or the new T-Mobile Arena.
