Diego Pacheco impresses / Cain Sandoval moves to 14-0

Diego Pacheco proved his star power by becoming the first boxer to stop Maciej Sulecki at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

The 23-year-old impressed as he moved to 22-0 with an 18th knockout, dropping and stopping Sulecki in the sixth round with a sickening body shot. Sulecki suffered the third defeat of his 35-fight professional career as Pacheco proved too much on DAZN.

Pacheco spoke with promoter Eddie Hearn after the fight and announced his intentions to face Jaime Munguia once the Mexican gets back in the win column.

Cementing his status a top contender in the junior welterweight division, โ€˜Sugarโ€™ Cain Sandoval, (14-0, 12 KOs), of Sacramento, CA stopped veteran Ramiro Duno, (26-5, 20 KOs), of Miami, FL in the sixth round (1:59) as a sold-out crowd watched at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, CA and broadcast globally on UFC FIGHT PASSยฎ.

Sandoval vs. Duno was the scheduled ten-round headliner of the Tom Loefflerโ€™s 360 Promotions latest, nationally acclaimed Hollywood Fight Nights series.

Both fighters worked aggressively from the opening bell landing blistering power shots at a fast pace which continued through the action-packed first four rounds. Starting in the fifth round, Sandoval effectively imposed his will, creatively changing speeds and angles to push back Duno.

Using more effective aggressiveness, the 22-year-old Sandoval stopped Duno with a battering right hand body shot as the fight was called a halt in the sixth stanza.

Said the victorious Sandoval following the fight, โ€œI worked on my defense in the gym and it felt good to get the knockout, I wanted to knock him out earlier. I knew the body shots would work from watching his previous fights.”

Fighting for the first time in the United States, middleweight Sadriddin Akhmedov, (14-0, 12 KOs), of Almaty, Kazakhstan knocked out Antonio Todd, (17-11, 9 KOs), of Atlanta, GA in the first round of their scheduled eight rounder.

Starting very aggressively in the opening round Akhmedov sent Todd to the canvas with a huge right hand. Using his full arsenal to attack the Georgia native, Akhemdov earned the stoppage at 2:31 of the first stanza.

Fighting for the first time in nine months, light heavyweight powerhouse Umar Dzambekov, (9-0, 6 KOs), of Los Angeles, CA stopped Eddie Ortiz, (13-1-2, 5 KOs), of San Antonio, TX in the fourth round. Following a fast-paced first round, the southpaw Dzambekov took control of the action in the following two rounds. The end would come in the fourth round as Dzambekov would stun Ortiz with a battering right hand to the head closing the show at the :54 second mark.

Danny Robles, (9-3-1, 5 KOs), of Oxnard, CA won a spirited four round decision over the game Jonathan Almacen, (7-12-3, 2 KOs), of Manila, Philippines in their featherweight battle.

Scores were 40-36, 39-37 and 39-37.

In the Hollywood Fight Nights opener, Angel Carrillo, (3-1, 2 KOs), of Oxnard, CA stopped Josh Navarro, (1-2-1), in the third round of their scheduled junior featherweight four rounder. Time of the stoppage was 2:30.
