No sign of rehab as Ryan Garcia gives reminder on wild behavior

Ryan Garcia has yet to follow through on his promise of rehab and revealed a new reason for his ongoing controversial behavior.

The super lightweight has gone on a social media rampage for months, polarizing audiences and demographics with disastrous results. His most shocking contribution, which included racial slurs, came with an apology and intentions to get himself clean following substance abuse.

However, those pledges to appease an angry community section have yet to materialize as Garcia continues to rant and cause conflict.

Garcia has since asked for understanding as he has ADHD [Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder] in a reiterating development. Garcia has previously revealed in April that he was taking medication for the condition.

I don’t think people understand I have ADHD, and I post what’s on my mind,” said the former world title challenger.

Four hours before, Garcia had said, “It’s time not to be nice. You see what’s been happening by being nice. No, war because without war, there is no peace.”

It’s hard to decipher whether Garcia is simply missing boxing, as his behavior hasn’t altered from February, during the build-up to the Devin Haney fight, to now. It’s been one manic episode for Garcia, who has been in trouble with the law and faces a court appearance for the alleged vandalism of a hotel room.

He’s also poorly interacted with his ex-wife, for which he has also apologized in what seems to be a common occurrence. His next move is reportedly to be ringside in Japan for Manny Pacquiao’s exhibition.

Putting two and two together, it’s believed that Garcia hopes to land some combat match-up with the Filipino legend, which would be impossible until his current suspension expires. Failed drug tests for ostarine in the wake of his win over Haney left Garcia out of commission until April 2025, and the victory was taken away.

Many see this enforced timeout as Garcia’s ideal opportunity to rehabilitate himself, but that does not seem likely anytime soon.
