Dear Ryan Garcia, please put the bottle and the phone down

World Boxing News wants to plead with Ryan Garcia to address his current situation after another hellacious social media rant.

Garcia went on his most polarizing outburst yet, tweeting in a manic way as if under the influence and suffering from mental health issues. Despite claiming he’d get help after a previous episode caused racial tensions, Garcia hasn’t stopped his problematic ways and is undoubtedly on the path to destruction.

Making outlandish claims about the President of the United States and diseases the world’s doctors and researchers are trying hard to find cures for, Garcia made little sense as he spoke about aliens coming to Earth to end civilization as we know it.

Whoever is in that room with Garcia when he’s typing those digits on his far too-available phone needs to take a long, hard look at themselves. It’s been five months since Garcia first went over the edge during the build-up to the Devin Haney fight. Since then, he’s been arrested, allegedly broken into his ex-wife’s home, had death threats, and been thrown out of a ringside boxing event. Not to mention, he’s been banned from boxing by anti-doping for a year due to testing positive.

WBN considered posting some of Garcia’s tweets in full but then reconsidered. They still readily appear on his timeline anyway. Here’s what we could post from one of the most eye-catching.

“[Globalists are] Giving people cancer and making up diseases that aren’t real. All diseases are fake, including HIV. It’s just another move to make more money,” claimed Garcia.

“They have been sleeping with monkeys and animals. It’s crazy how the rich and powerful didn’t die.”

Former training partner Andy Ruiz Jr. recently joined the thousands of concerned fans, boxing personnel, and media who want Garcia to get help.

“I pray for Ryan to get better. There is nothing bad I can say to him or Devin or anybody. We all make mistakes. We all learn, and the best thing for him to do is to keep training and stay ready because one year is going to go by fast, and he will be back in the ring.

“Everybody is praying for him. I know his dad is really concerned about having faith in himself to change, and he will be able to do that because he is a strong kid,” Ruiz told media at his workout, including Ring Magazine.

On Garcia’s suspension, the former heavyweight champion added, “I don’t know how it [ostarine] makes you feel or what it does for you. Does it make you feel stronger? Last longer? I don’t know. It doesn’t look like I do any PEDs. I am naturally just how I am. I don’t try to change anything. But it sucks when people do that and get caught, someone can get hurt.”

WBN hopes Ryan Garcia realizes before it’s too late that his actions hurt not only others but also himself. He must find a way to want to get help, or this manic episode will continue until he finally crashes and burns.
