Senior, father to former pound for pound king Floyd Jr, answered an arrest warrant at Clark County Sheriff’s Office before being processed at the Detention Center in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
The 65 year-old was in attendance as Golovkin and Canelo fought out a draw at the T-Moblie Arena in Las Vegas but was allegedly involved in an altercation with a woman soon after.
A police report states Mayweather Sr. argued with the female before dragging her out of his car and eventually punching her before speeding away.

Mayweather’s representatives have since commented on the accusations and say the woman went to police when she failed to secure a payout.
Senior’s team say the woman is, “trying to extort money and she’s angry because she’s not getting the money from Floyd. It’s not going the way she wants it to go.”
The incident is said to have taken place in the early hours of September 17 and police have now freed Mayweather Sr. on $1,000 bail pending a March 27th trial.
If found guilty of the battery charges, Mayweather Sr. could face up to six months in jail.
