Dmitry Bivol may be disadvantaged on October 12 after somebody close to him leaked injury secrets to his forthcoming opponent, Artur Beterbiev.
What makes it worse for Bivol is those confidential ailments he suffered from before and after fights were outed by his ex-wife and the mother of his two sons. Ekaterina Bivol has continued her verbal assault on the WBA light heavyweight champion, pushing for more financial help.
At present, Bivol reportedly pays $1100 per month for his children despite reportedly earning almost $10 million during his boxing career. Ekaterina is relentlessly pushing Bivol into the media.
There are only two weeks left until the boxing star faces Beterbiev. The event is the most significant challenge of Bivol’s life and is for the undisputed title.
“After all the attacks on me, failure to pay child support for his sons, and complete refusal to communicate with them, I want to tell you everything I know,” said Ekaterina, offering Beterbiev information on Bivol.
“He has a stress fracture of a vertebra in his back. All his hands have been operated on, not just once, but one elbow, for sure. He has very sore knees, and his left ear is constantly swelling. It has been broken [perforated] many times, and fluid has accumulated in his eye many times. Sometimes, he can’t see well, but the main thing is that he is a coward!
“We need your victory, Artur [Beterbiev]!”
It’s the second time in as many days that ‘Kate’ has called for Beterbiev to win the fight.
“Cancel Bivol for paying only 1100 [dollars] per month for both kids! He is hiding his foreign bank accounts. My children and I are [cheering] for Artur!”
Bivol undoubtedly won’t be happy with the constant attacks on his reputation by his former partner. This latest outburst may not be the last time the subject is raised by Bivol and Beterbiev trade blows in Saudi Arabia.
