  • by

World Boxing News provides live results and a round-by-round scorecard for the main event of Joshua vs Dubois at Wembley.

Daniel Dubois obliterated Anthony Joshua, dropping the former world champion four times on the way to a convincing win.

Josuha was never in the fight and lost in front of over 98,000 people as Dubois completely dominated from start to finish.

‘AJ’ was clocked in the first and never fully recovered.

Joshua vs Dubois Undercard Results:

Hamzah Sheeraz took out the much smaller and out-of-depth Tyler Denny in a brutal two round display.

Sheeraz was completely in control and got the job done in second gear.

Joshua Buatsi dropped Willy Hutchinson twice on his way to a decision that didn’t tell the full story.

The pair fought out a war with both hurt on occasions in a fight that is undoubtedly rematch worthy.

Despite the firefight, the scorecards should never have been in doubt.

However, somehow one judge gave Hutchinson the victory 113-112, even though there were two 10-8 rounds and a point deduction in Buatsi’s favor.

Buatsi correctly took the verdict 117-108 and 115-110 with the other officials but only one of those scores was close to reality.

Hutchinson proved he belongs at world level and may push for a second fight, which could be a good seller at the O2.

Anthony Cacace retained his featherweight title against the ever-dogged Josh Warrington.

In a fight that was on way traffic for the majority, Cacace kept Warrington at bay and disabled the Leeds man’s usual spoiler tactics.

After twelve rounds, Cacace got the decision 118-110 and 117-111 twice.

In the second preliminary bout, super welterweight Josh Kelly carded a decision win over late replacement Ishmael Davis. Kelly seemed to be on top for the majority of the fight, opening up a gap in the first few sessions.

However, scorecards read a lot closer than expected as Davis came on strong in the final few rounds. One judge even carded a draw 114-114. The other two saw it for Kelly 115-113 and 115-114.

Josh Padley shocked Wembley in the opening bout by dropping and defeating the big-punching Turki Alalshikh favorite Mark Chamberlain.

Padley, an electrician who took two months off work to take the fight, used snuffing out tactics to keep Chamberlain at bay. Late in the fight, Padley dropped Chamberlain before seeing out a decision victory.
